COPD can significantly impact daily activities, limiting physical activity, sleep quality, and overall quality of life.
Severe asthma is a complex and often debilitating condition marked by persistent symptoms despite the use of high-dose inhaled medications and other standard therapies. Individuals with severe asthma may experience frequent exacerbations, limited lung function, repeated use of oral steroids, and disruptions to sleep, work, and daily activities, placing a significant burden on overall health and quality of life.
Uncontrolled moderate to severe asthma is more than occasional shortness of breath—it often means persistent symptoms, frequent flare-ups, nighttime awakenings, and reliance on rescue inhalers despite regular treatment. This level of asthma can significantly interfere with daily activities, work, sleep, and overall quality of life, and it may increase the risk of emergency visits or hospitalizations
